        Shinkendo is a comprehensive study of Japanese Swordmanship developed by Master Obata Toshishiro. This style includes intensive training in footwork (ashisabaki) bodywork (taisabaki), Battodo (sword drawing techniques) Suburi (sword swinging techniques) Tachi uchi (semi free style sparring) and Tameshigiri (actual target cutting) using a real Japanese sword. Shinkendo is an Internation organization and students that are members of the Internation Shinkendo Federation are allowed to trained at dojo around the world, including such countries as France ,England, Poland, Hungary, Greece to name a few. There are also several school around the United States where students can train. The main headquarters in located in Los Angelos. www.shinkendo.com
