Boston Harbor Sailing Club Inc

Rented a Pearson 26 from the Boston Harbor Sailing Club this summer and had a great time. The boat was equipped with roller furling, a new outboard (the electric start was a real plus). Boat was very clean and the staff provided a 15 minute orientation to the boat features and to the Boston Harbor chart which they also provided since we were not that familiar with the area. Overall a satisfying experience from a from the boat to the staff to the Boston Harbor sailing area. Will do it again when i am in Boston.

Took lessons this summer with Capt Vern as my instructor. He was incredibly patient, knowledgeable and thorough in his teaching, never yelling and always encouraged me to try again if I did something not quite right. We used Boston 27's for the first 16 hours, great boats, comfortable, dry and like new condition, and a Pearson 26 cruiser for the day-long navigation class. All the instruction was on the water which was best for me, and covered everything in the textbook and a lot more. The 35 days free sailing was a real bonus since I got to practice on my own five times over the next month and I feel confident in navigating around tricky Boston Harbor..
