        Nestled in the trees at the crest of Heavenly Mountain, Carolina Mountain Lodge is a newly opened bed and breakfast and offers 5 luxurious, uniquely themed guest rooms. It is only 5 minutes away from the Blue Ridge Parkway and 12 minutes from downtown Boone. The covered porches overlook the Blue Ridge Mountains. Watch the sun rise as you sip your morning coffee or tea. Savor breakfast prepared by Anne, the owner and manager. Enjoy a peaceful retreat, and bask in the tranquility of nature. Relax by the fire with a book or head for adventure in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Lodge is minutes from dining, skiing, hiking, shopping, golf, and other exciting activities. Get ready for your day of activities by joining us in the Dining Room for our delicious breakfast. The Lodge dining room is located on the first floor where fresh breakfast is served daily between 8:30am and 10:00am. Enjoy a full hot breakfast in the dining room or dine on the back deck and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Advanced arrangements can be made for breakfast in your room. Tea, coffee and toast are always available in the dining area. Those in the mood for a relaxing night at home are encouraged to use our barbecue facilities on the covered porch. Carolina Mountain Lodge hosts an in-house gift shop, Vintage Mountain Designs. Anne's clothing designs are made from the beloved vintage doilies and laces that our ancestors made. Creating repurposed vintage treasures and preserving the history of our families brings her great pleasure. She also makes homemade jams, jellies, pickles and relishes using my Mother's and Grandmother's recipes.
