Worst mortgage experience of my life, absolutely incompetent and uncaring.

Mountain America Credit Union was ready to close on property X when the buyer lost his job, Property X goes back on the market. I come in and want to buy property X and want to use Mountain America Credit Union since they should be ready to close. After I jump through the billions of mortgage hoops you have to jump though now, I am all set, closing Friday November 14th. Since my loan officer wasn't able to complete simple paperwork in time it gets to underwriting early friday morning. The underwriters then decide that a drawing showing septic to well distance doesn't have the proper I's dotted and T's crossed.
Missed closing date number one.
So because we didn't close on the 14th my appraisal expired. So we set another closing date Thursday November 20th. So she has four days to get an appraisal updated (easy job) and the drawing ironed out. Suffice to say after I begged her to follow up and make sure these outside vendors completed their jobs on time she just flatly refused. She told me that she had zero control or influence on outside suppliers and would not call them asking them to hurry or give us a completion date. Closing date #2 missed.

So lets try for Friday the 21st, well we do manage to sign the papers but because of her sloth, uncaring attitude and just plain incompetence we cannot get the property funded so I own the debt but cannot take possession. So i own a property I cannot have...
Moving van still sitting costing me $30 per day...

Monday comes around and I drive up to the property and wait for the realtor to let me in once the financial exchange takes place. But because I didn't sign the automatic withdrawal option that apparently wasn't an option (mistake #132), the loan officer holds up the exchange so I can drive my moving van from the property out to Mountain America Credit Union, so I could sign that piece of paper, another delay and expense at my cost. We couldn't sign it electrically, either...
So if you actually want to close on a property avoid Mountain America Credit Union, they just don't know how to do the job, they don't care to do the job, and they don't care about you...
