Lowell Scott Middle School offers a variety of academic programs to students in grades six through eight. Its curriculum includes language arts, mathematics, sciences, social science and economics. The school s library provides resources, such as books, journals and magazines and Internet access. It also offers honors courses visual and fine arts programs. Its music department offers classes in band, orchestra and choir. Its athletic department offers sport activities, such as volleyball, cross country, football, tennis, wrestling, track and field and basketball. It has various clubs, such as chess, snow sliders, builder's, writer's, skateboarding and National Junior Honor Society. Its cafeteria offers well-balanced breakfasts, nutrition breaks and lunches daily. The school provides a range of multicultural activities and offers counseling and career programs to students. Lowell Scott Middle School is operated by the Meridian School District and is located in Boise, Idaho.
