Cavender Chevrolet

Found a vehicle on their website that matched what I wanted. Communicated with three different people, one Jon Bishop who identified himself as the store manager. Wanted to go that evening and look at it, but Bishop said he didn’t think it was available yet due to the inspections they do on used vehicles. Bishop kept saying he would let me know as soon as the truck was available. Kept promising that, then ghosted me. Wouldn’t answer phone or emails. Found out thru CARFAX that they sold the vehicle to someone else. So communication and honesty is a big problem at this dealership. I would not recommend except to people I don’t like.

We purchased a used vehicle, test drove it first. First appearances everything seemed fine. Got 1/4 mike down the road, hit a bump and the truck went into a death wobble. Called Cavender, they told us to drive it home (5hr drive) take it to local dealer and they would pay to have it fixed. Now they want us to drive an unsafe vehicle back to them, over 300 mike trip, so they can fix it. So basically they are not going to fix it. After having it for two days, batteries were found to be fried and had to be replaced and now there is an electrical issue. According to Cavender this truck went through a 172point check before being put up for sale.
