Susquehanna Valley Child Development Center

My daughter has been attending SVCDC for over 2 years. We've gone from the infant room, wobbly walker room, young toddlers, and now to the older toddlers room. She loves all her teachers, and I trust them with the post important person in my world. It is a great center and my husband and I go out of our way to take her there.

SVCDC’s mission statement says their mission is to provide quality, safe, and dependable care. The quality of care that my daughter received two days a week in the three months she attended here declined with the more children that were enrolled in her age group as the teachers had to split their attention among more and more kids and I became increasingly concerned for her safety as the incident reports seemed to pile up. The director assured me they have the proper 1:5 ratio of teacher to students but toddlers can be overwhelming especially when one of the teachers seemed to always be out of the room. On days where other kids were out, we had good days but when every kid was there, there always seemed to be an issue.

What began as a good experience turned south the more children that were enrolled in her class.
