Overall

Going on a month now I've been trying to get cannulas from Lincare, I've been w/this company for 10 years but in Nevada. These people are inept and rude, make it obvious they could care less about your problems. I am of course on Medicare but am looking to find where I can purchase these on my own as I now have sores inside my nose. So disgusted with them. They changed hands recently and anyone with any sense and compassion is gone.

Overall

Worst most rude people around. I was told I needed O2 when I left the hospital. Against my better judgement I agreed to take it just so they would release me. After about a week of it being in my home without my using it I called the company up to pick it up. The first time I called I was told the doctor said I needed it and I said it was my choice and I wanted it picked up. Was told, no problem, the driver would call me. I waited 6 days and called again. Again I was told the driver would call me. 6 days later I called again and was told to leave a message which I did telling them I wanted this picked up and out of my home. No call back as usual so I called yet again and got one of the rudest women I have ever dealt with. She proceeded to tell me they spoke with my doctor and he said he thought I still needed it (without having seen me) and they neglected to call me to inform me of this. I told her that when I first called that I told the woman I spoke to that I didn't care what the doctor said, I was paying for it and I wanted it taken out. She got quite nasty asking me if I had a medical degree and I told her no but I know my own body and I didn't need this. I told her that her company didn't even have the decency to call me back and that I hope they didn't think I was going to pay for anything other than the service up until the 9th upon which she snottily told me not to worry - that they charge by the month and I would be paying up until the 29th of this month. She was rude and nasty and the minute I tried to explain anything she got even worse and told ME not to get nasty (which I wasn't) and this company does not return calls to customers either. Funny thing was, when she originally picked up her phone and I started to talk about them not returning calls, she actually asked if I was someone else - gave a name and all - and I said no and gave her my name so apparently I'm not the only one complaining about their service. I would rather drop dead of lack of oxygen before using this company again! If you enjoy dealing with rude nasty people and being ignored by a company, then this is the place for you! From what I was told, they are the only company to accept medicare so I guess they think they can treat customers however they feel because of that fact.



I will add a brief postscript. I received a call from their headquarters in Kansas asking me for my critique on their service. I told the woman what happened and she said she was writing it all down and sending it on to the appropriate people. Not sure where this will go but hopefully things will be corrected so others don't need to go through this. I will update if anything else comes of this.
