The owner, Vince, is a very unreasonable person to deal with.

Dealer was selling a 2006 Ford F250 Harley Davidson truck for $25,977, 1FTSW21P96ED64511, that needed head gaskets. Told me it would Cost the him $5000 to fix the truck. Would only give me $2500 back for buying the truck without it being repaired. Would not reason on the price of the repair. Not willing to work with you at all.

Will not return to this dealer. Nor will I endorse anyone buying something from them.

i have bought numerous cars from vince and have had few problems. you have to realize that used cars will have problems. all the cars i have bought from blackwells have been very good cars.

I purchased a vehicle on June 13, 2009 from BLACKWELL’S AUTO & TRUCK SALES - 1765 Blue Ridge Hwy Blairsville, GA 30512-4378. Within the first week after purchasing this vehicle, the following problems ensued:



On June 17th, the air conditioner quit working.



By June 20th, all of the tires began to flatten and lose pressure so I had to purchase new tires.



On June 14th, one day after buying this vehicle, the serpentine belt began to make a constant ticking noise and till this date, the vehicle has a loud whirring noise, which may be because of the AC or wheel bearings.





I called the dealership to report the AC problem to Steve. I was initially given the impression this problem would be rectified.. When I called back to see when I could bring the vehicle in, the story changed. I was told by Vince they don’t have the mechanical capabilities of fixing this type of problem. I called back on July 10th to speak with Steve since he seemed inclined to help. To my surprise, he now claims they cannot do anything about it. He says the vehicle was sold “AS IS” (AS IS – the AC was working) and they cannot perform such repairs. He used a repulsive analogy and I quote, “If you were to have driven off our lot immediately after paying for the vehicle and the engine burned up, there is nothing we could do about the problem because there are no warranties.” Adding, “If we paid for every problem that occurred with an automobile purchased from us, we would not be in business.” I’m flabbergasted by these statements. Steve stated he knew nothing of this problem, yet the AC was being charged with Freon when I arrived to look at the vehicle, which I’m sure was a temporary solution to a much bigger problem just to sell the vehicle. I had two people that went with me to look at this vehicle as well and we were all told everything with this vehicle is in good working condition and there weren’t any known deficiencies. This dealership is deceitful and has horrendous customer service. Please do not buy from BLACKWELL’S AUTO & TRUCK SALES; this is not a reputable dealership and you will be disappointed, especially when the costly repairs start to add up.
