Bismarck Gold & Silver Exchange

I have bought from Bismarck Gold & Silver for over 20 years. I live out of state so I have my orders delivered. I always get great pricing and friendly service from Larry, Mark and Zach. They are a family owned business and I have always been treated very fairly. I have bought precious metals from different sources but have always trusted them the most.

They are so fair like I said before I have purchased and sold silver in five different states and there money is made when selling and they buy at market. I've been taken on both ends elsewhere by alot more. They also are coin collectors, coin books and alot more.

I just wanted to see the video of the transaction and I have not heard the fat lady sing I think that is not to much to ask

I just visited them on Sep 25, 2015 and found them to be very professional and helpful to a new collector like me. Nothing unprofessional or mean about these guys. I will absolutely go back to them...often.

I've bought from them a few times and agree that they generally aren't the most friendly, but I haven't had as bad experiences as others. I do not think they are 100% fair with their pricing. I have gone in to buy silver and when the price is down they say that they have to charge by what the previous day close was, but I have gone in when the market was up and they then say that they charge what the current trading price is. They also charge well over current value. I bought half dollars when the value was at $7.80 coin, they were selling them for $9.00 then told me they would have to charge an extra 3% if I wanted to use my debit card as they weren't even making 3% on the sale.

I only rate these guys a 1 star. This place seems to be the only real coinshop in town. They sell bullion coins at a fair price and have a good selection of coins. I admit I only had one bad experience with these guys but a very bad experience. I agree very moody.

At first i really liked this place but you shouldn't yell at customers because your having a bad day!

After reading the scathing review that was posted I felt compelled to write that I have dealt with Mark on 2-3 different occasions and found him a pleasure to work with. So much so that I still plan to buy from him on occasion even though he is in ND and I'm in the Denver Colorado area. He has followed through with all agreements and the prices seem fair. It is mainly because he has been helpful that I bother to do business remotely with him rather than a with a local shop.

Mark and Larry are very unprofessional and quite moody. Do not ask them any questions if you visit their shop (unless you don’t mind getting yelled at and/or you don't mind hearing them whine). Do not speak unless spoken to either. If you accept everything you are told and like saying the words "OK" and “Yup” while being SPOKEN AT, you will get along with both Mark and Larry. You will also be considered and called a friend, bud, buddy, or pal, often throughout the conversation. Lastly, if you agree to ANYTHING with either of them, make certain it is immediately put into writing, as their spoken word is as good as worthless.
