Palace Casino Resort

The staff here are always helpful, considerate and nice to deal with. I love being able to go where no one is smoking!! Parking is excellent. The slots are always fun, and I'm looking forward to going to a good breakfast buffet tomorrow, Mothers Day! I have NO complaints about the Palace, and I've been there when it was a barge, and now it is SPLENDID.

I have been going for years and they improve every year. They do have a variety of slots, a pretty good buffet, the best bar burgers and chicken wings at mignons bar. i can always get a drink on the floor and every single person in the staff has been friendly and helpful in any way they can!!!

We stopped by in Sept. 2007 and stayed only a half hour because the very small casino barge (yes they still use theirs even after Katrina) is crowded beyond belief- we could barely turn around. They had a very small assortment of slots (IE: only two of the new Super Money Grab Monopoly games whereas everywhere else it's four or six). The place looked very dingy and grimey and, well, Katrina would have done them a bigger favor if this barge was sunk like those on the beach! The hotel looks nice but we did not stay.
