Terrible service, they don't have a clue sometimes. My hot sandwich sits on the counter, while she rings out some lady that just walks in and cuts in front of me. She called in 2 salads, paying by credt card. I ordered a sandwich, standing there with 5 other people waiting. I recieved a phone call, instead of being rude, i stepped outside to take the call. I come back in to pick up my sandwich, it was gone, she said she gave it away. I guess i need to ask permission to leave and come back.

Anthony (Whatagot!?) Renaldi is gone but his sister-in-law, Anna is the new owner. My business partners and I eat there every day abandoning the rest of the food offerings in Bethel. Anna's Italian cooking is the real deal. Her chicken scarp specials are fantastic and her general offerings have, dare I say this against my buddy Anthony,... the best the establishment has ever had....certainly blowing Dino (Villarina's previous owner) AWAY. Great variety, (we never get bored..) Granted, Anna doesn't have the personal "presence" that Anthony had, (she is usually cooking or directing it) but I don't eat "presence". All this coming from a man whose Italian born mom (like Anna is) makes home made lasagna (home made noodles from scratch, ..very thin and of course the sauce) and everything else. I wish I could clone her place and bring it to New Milford so I could enjoy it on Saturday's as well. Have I mentioned her broccoli rabe?.... oh boy...

Tony Rinaldi is the best!!! Wonderful deli and their catering service is great. Can't beat their wraps and grinders..not to mention the homemade soups.
