Teachable Moments Early Learning Center

My wife and I visited this center only because of the location. The infant room is too small and cramped, with absolutely no air circulation. 4 babies crawling over one another in a tiny space, one playing under a crib. Owner was hyper and loud when communicating with us, not at all professional. When my wife asked a girl in a preschool classroom if she had any type of degree, she replied no, and told us that only one teacher had a college education. Both rooms looked cluttered, and one child was being held down whilst screaming. Playground is old and very small, equipment looks dangerous. Needless to say, we opted out quickly. Definitely not expected in Berkley.

Excellent care. Genuinely cares about the children. Ms. Jackson is like part of the family. Very satisfied with care of both a 5 year old and newborn.

What a horrible experience. Our 3 yr old son was severely bitten twice by the same child in a matter of a week. After the first time, Charlotte promised and swore up and down that it would never happen again. A week later, same thing happens. She was very rude and unprofessional. She had nothing but excuses and would not take any responsibility. I also witnessed a little boy in a dark room all alone, I had to alert the staff of the child's whereabouts. Charlotte comes off as the sweetest lady in the world but it is all a front. She wants nothing but your money and does not have your kids best interest. I wouldn't trust my dog to be cared for here let alone any child.

My son who is now 2 1/2 has been in the director of this center's care since he was 9 weeks old. Our family LOVES working with her. My son is greeted by name with smiles and hugs from his teachers and friends every single morning. He loves going to school and jumps with excitement as we are getting out of the car. The center is beautiful and immaculately clean. I have always been able to drop my son off with confidence knowing that he is receiving nothing less than the best care. The director's dedication to educating the little ones at an early age is also very much appreciated. Before age 2 my son could fluently identify his letters and numbers (out of order) as well as his colors and shapes. He brings home crafts and projects that he has done in school multiple times a week. Since the opening of the new center our family continues to be impressed with the care our son receives day in and day out. We are sincerely thankful for the wonderful start our son as been able to have thanks to this directors unwavering dedication to the families she serves. We often recommend our family and friends to the center and would recommend it to anyone else who may be looking for quality care.

My daughter love it here... Mrs. Jackson the director is very knowledgeable and a passionate person...she makes sure your child is taken care of and treated as you would want him/her to be treated...my daughter has been under her care since she was 3 months old..I wouldn't​ let any other daycare care for my child as I am now working on baby #2...she recently got rid of a couple of bad apples (inadequate employees) that are obviously upset (hint the comments above made on the same day they got let go) visit and see for yourself. I know you will love the place as much as my husband and I do

My daughter has been there since the center opened, and I couldn't be happier. The facilities are equipped with secured internet cameras, and the director has been great to work with from regular communication to problem solving. All around great child care center.
