Country Fresh Market

I worked here for the remainder of my college education. I can't tell you how many complaints i heard from angry customers that we didn't have what was listed in the sale papers or that meat was out of date. Not only that, but customers complained frequently that even if the meat had a good date, it was spoiled. I caught word through the grape vine of the personnel that the meat room manager had a tendency to re-sticker old meat to keep it on the shelf longer because the store owner hated throwing out old meat! I went back one day while closing up to the deli and meat room and the girls locking up were more than happy to point out the black mold growing on the ceiling in the meat room. I'm pretty sure that's a big NO NO when it comes to OSHA. My mother still shops there occasionally when she passes through town. I always tell her make sure you check the dates on anything you buy!!

Only store in Benton - still small but definitely has most of the basics and a little more.
