This review has been brought to our attention by a satisfied customer who was in disbelief. Upon reading the review, we began searching our computer system, files and other records to determine what went wrong. After searching through months of orders, messages, claims, performance reports and actual bills we have been unable to locate this incident. We have however come across other instances where customers have communicated concerns and they have all been documented and resolved. We have yet to find any complaint that is similar to this one. We would like the opportunity to discuss these issues and rectify the situation because our policy has always been to satisfy customers. We would also like to mention, that our standard crew is a three man crew. A seven man job is extremely rare and we normally use an on-site estimate to determine if in fact we should send out so many extra men or try to complete the move in more than one day. We are always up front about our costs. Even with repeat customers it is part of our booking procedure to go over the rates over the phone as well as on paper with a written estimate, a confirmation letter or, both. In addition we confirm rates and crew size with a phone call a few days prior to the move. On the day of the move our drivers all follow the same guidelines when directing a move. The bill of lading (which has the rates clearly written on it) must be signed prior to the start of the move, it must also be signed upon completion of the move with the total cost and an itemized listing of charges, a copy of the bill is also left with each customer once the bill has been signed. Our rates are listed with the Illinois Commerce Commission & IMAWA and we do not (and legally cannot) change the hourly rate or cost based on a customer's specific personality, age, gender, etc. We simply do not understand how this could have happened. We strongly urge this particular client to contact us as soon as possible to resolve his/her complaints. We certainly apologize for what seems to be a miscommunication and can only ask for a chance to make things right.
