Completely fun from beginning to end. We called to schedule a time to ride and the office staff could not have been more helpful. Just a sweet, sweet girl answering the phone. We arrived a little early like they told us and got us all signed in easily. Only took a few minutes and we were on our horses. The horses were ready to go and are just gorgeous. They are very well groomed and taken care of. The seem very happy and healthy and like their job. Alex, our guide was a true Texas beauty with an amazing smile and some true Texas horse know how. She helped everyone on the trail, she was kind and sweet and made the ride top notch for us all. I would have to say this is a perfect way to spend the day.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Benbrook Stables! They have THE best trail rides! Their trail horses are unflappable! They take you through creeks, up and down hills, and through some beautiful countryside- especially during Spring. Bluebonnet season explodes on those trails! Absolutely gorgeous! The 2-hour trail ride is incredible! Gorgeous views of Benbrook Lake, it's definitely a must-do!

The staff are all so fun and kind. They truly care for all the horses at their barn, and it shows! Their trail horses are beautiful, healthy, happy and have great work ethic. The staff takes special care to make sure each horses needs are met.

I leased one of their horses, "Blaze", for about 8 months (their lease program is awesome and surprisingly affordable) I wanted to buy him, but sadly, he's too valuable to them to sell. We had some great adventures together. I ended up buying my own horse and boarding her there at Benbrook Stables. The staff immediately welcomed her and helped her settle in. So grateful to all of them! When my horse got colic over the holidays, the staff were totally ontop of it! They got her up and walking and wouldn't let her down, they called me immediately and waited for the vet to come. Praise Jesus, the vet saved her. If it weren't for the staffs quick actions though, she might not have made it.

Every year the barn participates in the Stockyards parade and the Grand Entry! They offer up their trail horses so you can participate with them! It's an incredible experience! I got to ride a pretty little mare named "Seven", and my daughter rode a horse named "Turtle" in the grand entry! It was so much fun!!!!

I don't normally write reviews, but Benbrook Stables deserves it! I've brought lots of non-horsey friends and family to go on their awesome trail rides. They've all gone back to do it again! I can't wait to ride in the grand entry again too!

Had the best trail ride ever. Me and my family called in, got an appointment for the next day. Girl answering the phone was super sweet and very helpful. She gave us all the info we needed before we arrived. Its cash only, had to arrive 15 minutes early, had to have a mask upon arrival but we could remove once on horse back etc......We arrived, filled out our paper work and got to the horses right on time. Our Guide was exceptional. She was so helpful, informative and made the trail ride a really great experience. We are beginners but we were never treated like it. The horses don't just follow each other either like some other trail rides we have been on at other facilities. We actually got to spread out and enjoy the ride. You can see all of the lake and had a great view of Down Town Fort Worth. The horses are healthy and groomed, and just as sweet as you could ever imagine. Benbrook Stables is very highly recommended in my book. We loved it.

We love the folks at Benbrook Stables! They are great with horses and excellent guides. The horses were also calm and well behaved, and there was nice scenery along the trails. Overall, it is a great place to go for a afternoon trail ride.

Beautiful facility! Very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The staff and owners are on hand to help out with anything you need. The horses are very well cared for, and the trails are so pretty! I would definitely recommend to families or dates for a great trail ride.

Ten years ago, Benbrook stables had a great operation going on, but I honestly wonder what the heck happened? Now, this place is probably great for people who are able to do the "self care" options, but I would not recommend partial or full care on this place to ANYONE. If you are not one of the owners "little girls" that pretty much grew up there and are controlled by her, she doesnt care about anything any boarders have to say. If you have a question or an issue with something she can be very petty and hard to get along with. So unless you want her to pick a fight with you, dont bother bringing up your complaint. It wont be fixed anyway. And good luck actually receiving the services you pay for. The help is also not very knowledgable about horses at all and lazy to boot (with the exception of two girls, so you better hope they're the ones who are caring for your horse). All in all, if you want self care, this would be a good place because you would have minimal dealings with anyone and they do have a decent arena when its dry, but as far as aksking anything more than that... dont bother.

I have boarded with Benbrook Stables for over two years and could not be happier. The level of care for the horses is outstanding. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and always available with a helping hand. The facilities are BEAUTIFUL. Pastures and arenas are always well kept, and you have access to thousands of acres around the lake with thirty miles of designated horse trails.
With two arenas, two round pens, 100 acres of turn out and all the trails you could want to ride on, I guess you could say they have everything you could want.
The barns are always clean and the horses are loved and treated wonderfully.
Definitely my favorite place to have ever kept my horse.

We loved our evening at Benbrook Stables.
Our daughter was recently married at the stables and we could not have been more pleased. The twinkling lights in the trees and the ranch setting was exactly what she was looking for. The outdoor fireplace and the camp fire going in the fire pit were perfect for the November evening and added so much to the setting. The staff, management and owners were a joy to work with and made the entire process a pleasure. They were on hand the day of and jumped in to help with anything we needed. They went above and beyond when it came to hospitality. The bridal suite was warm and cozy with a fire going in the fireplace and candles all around the room. It is a huge ranch style room, beautifully decorated and large enough for the entire wedding party to dress and get ready beforehand. The venue was everything we wanted. We were so blessed to find the stabels.

Really nice trail ride with the family. Horses were great, our guide was very nice, and knew exactly what we needed. We were first-time riders, but now my daughter is hooked. She loved every second of it and now can't talk about anything but horses. We will be back for sure. I would definitely recommend as a family day out activity

Five Stars...Loved it! Our little girls party was a huge hit. The new petting zoo was fantastic and all the parents raved about the afternoon. Everyone had such a good time. The staff was so helpful and friendly and very professional. I can't express enough if you are looking for a venue that is ideal in every way, visit the stables. It was all we hoped for.

The horses that are being boarded here and the trail/ lesson horses are being taken care of beautifully from what Ive seen. This establishment is family owned giving a radiant hospitable vibe when you walk through the doors. Their prices are fair and can be fixed to fit any budget for events such as weddings and birthday parties.

I board both of my horses out here and absolutely love it! The barns are wonderful, the owner is easy to work with, and the whole facility is well kept and nice. If you are looking for a boarding facility, this one is worth your time to visit!

Our daughter got married at Benbrook Stables last week. We were so pleased with this venue! The location is idyllic. Very close to downtown Fort Worth and very convenient for our entire wedding party and family. The facility is gorgeous. The staff are highly professional: courteous, experienced, accommodating, responsive, and very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend Benbrook Stables as an ideal place to have a wedding.

My husband and I recently went on a trail ride at Benbrook Stables and had a wonderful time. We went on a Saturday, so there were about 8 other people on the ride with us. The stables sent out 2 guides with us to make sure that we were all stayed together, and help us out as needed. The horses were fantastic, and seemed to be well cared for. The property was beautiful and well kept. The trail guides were extremely helpful. There was one little girl on the ride, that was having trouble keeping her horse from eating grass, so one of the guides stayed with her, and even led her when she got scared. Overall, the ride was extremely enjoyable, and we even scheduled lessons so that we can learn more about the horses.

I live in Benbrook and bought my first horse a month ago and was looking for a place to board him. I always liked Benbrook stables because when I was younger my family would do trail rides around the lake and had lots of fun. It also backs right up to Benbrook lake and miles and miles of horse trails so I wouldn't have to trailer my horse very much, I could just ride him out the back and be right there. However, when reading some of these reviews I have to admit I was a little worried. But there are always 2 sides to every story so I decided to go talk to Molly the owner and some of the workers and other people who board their horse there to see what they were like. Hands down they are the nicest most down to Earth people you will find. I decided to board my horse there with full care and have had no problems whatsoever. I had even ordered my own saddle from a tack store and it was going to take several weeks to arrive so several people loaned me their saddles (including Molly) and they barely even knew me. Plus, last weekend my husband and I took our horse to swim with him in the lake and I may or may not have pushed the husband off the horse into the water where he hit a rock and got a nasty cut on his hand. Ooops. Anyways on the way back to the stable we got stopped by a park ranger unhappy that we were on his road and we told him what happened. Unknown to us he called Molly and told her what happened. A few mins later she comes driving down the road to find us and offered to drive us back and have her friend ride Partner back to the stables for us. When we got back everyone was helping us doctor up my poor husband...they were great. When we were being driven back I got up the nerve to ask Molly about some of the negative reviews on here and let me tell you...there is DEFINITELY another side to the story so if you are at all concerned I urge you to just go talk to them and find out for yourself. I can assure you the horses are taken care of and I couldn't be happier! All of this to say, don't let some negative reviews scare you away...do some research yourself and make your decision based on facts and not on some crazy posts by a disgruntled employee and a lady who is a few fries short of a Happy Meal.....

Benbrook Stables was very professional and a organized establishment! I showed up for a trail ride and was greeted by a smiling face at the desk. I then was given a helmet for my 10 year old daughter and we were directed outside. We were loaded on the horses who were ready to go. We had a great trail! No problems and all the horses seemed to love the trail! We got back happy and the trail boss even took a picture for us! Super sweet staff! Overall a great experience!a

Best place I have ever kept my horse. Benrbook Stables has so much that other barns just don't have. They take care of my older horse like he is one of their own. He has so many issues and they make sure he get the care he needs everyday. The barn is great, no gossipy bad apples, just super fun and friendly faces. All of the other boarders are outgoing and fun to go out on the trails with. Always someone around to ride with you or you can go out on the trails alone for a relaxing day. I read on some sites about some skinny horses and was a little leary at first. However those are their rescue horses. They rescue a few every year, get them completely healthy and then donate them to kids who can't afford to buy their own horse. The place is incredible. My daughter and I have been there for over a year now and we could not be happier. I would recommend Benbrook to anyone looking for a new home for their horses.
