Aquaguard Waterproofing

I would like to say how much i appreciate they work this company has done for us. I never realized how big of a job my house was until work started. As the motto says "Dedicated to excellence in everything we do", is a true statement.



I would like to thank the entire staff, they were very helpful



I have given their name to several people who have stopped by and asked who did the work for us and how we felt about the company and staff, needless to say, I gave an A++. I will continue to recommend their services to whom ever asks.

I cannot comment on the actual work perfomred by Aquaguard because I ended up spending a lot of money getting a structural engineer to come to my home to get a correct assessment, but I can comment on Aquaguard's sales techniques.



I had water leakage with a basement and had Aquaguard come out to give an assessment and determine what I would need. After sitting through an hour and a half of sales presentations, I was told that the french drain that was already installed needed to be dug up and re-installed for $4k. I was then offered a same day promotional discount if I signed the contract the same night. I chose to get a second opinion.



Second opinion waterproofer said I did not need a new system and recommended I get a handyman to make a few repairs. They even pointed out issues Aquaguard did not notice that contributed to the issue (also fixable by a handyman).



I received a call from Aquaguard requesting to come out again with their specialist (another salesman). I said ok, because I thought this person was an engineer (could truly have been my misunderstanding). The second sales agent who came out said the same thing about re-doing the drain system, and even getting another i-beam installed and told me I should use Aquaguard's structural engineer. After being worried by this second consultation I called a structural engineer not associated with Aquaguard who confirmed that the fixes I needed for my basement was not another french drain or i-beam, but were simple handy-man fixes.



I feel the sales people at Aquaguard, although cordial, put too much pressure on selling, and I would not use them if I have any future basement problems. It makes me feel uncomfortable that I would be pressured into something that I really did not need.

We have been experiencing water in our basement for many years. Once we saved the funds to take care of the problem and remodel the basement we called several companies. Many did not tell us what was going on they either gave us a quick price or told us how bad compnay A or B were. The rep from Aquaguard did a very good job at telling us about our problem and the different ways to correct the problem. The crew was very nice and answered all of our questions. The system has been working for 2 years and we have had zero problems. Our son lives in the basement and we have been dry.

Have been dry for 5 years and Aquaguard was the one that help us with this problem. They have always been very responsive to all of our questions and did an outstanding job. Our neighbors had work done by another company and we were amaze by the way they left their home, very dirty. The workers from Aquaguard left our basement cleaner than when they entered our home. Thanks Nick and his crew and our inspector JR. They are all excellent workers!

Aquaguard put in a system and guaranteed that it would resolve the leaks in my basement. Several thousand dollars later, the first time it rained I had leaks in the same locations they guaranteed were fixed.



Now I can't get anyone to return my calls and the check has been cashed. Considering going to court to at least attempt to recover some of my losses.

Aquaguard installed a drainage system and sump pump and guaranteed the system would not leak. One week after installation a storm came through and the basement leaked in the same locations it leaked before.



I called Aquaguard to report the problem and was told that I would be called back by a manager to address the issue the next day. No call. At the end of the day I called again and was told a manager would contact me the following day. Again, no call. The third time I called, I was told that someone would get to me next week sometime... In the meantime, my finished basement is still wet and if it rains again...



At this point I'm losing confidence and patience. I understand they may be busy, but if they are not going to take care of existing customers by at least calling back to schedule an on-site assessment, I would NOT recommend this company to anyone looking for a basement waterproofing company.

Very pleased with all aspects of the waterproofing job Aquaguard did at our home. My basement is able to be used again! The workers got to our house early and worked throughout the day. Very happy with everything they did and will refer them to everyone I know.
