This Facility is an ACR accredited with State of the Art equipment and a caring, compassionate and competent staff. What is not seen by the patients is a team of highly competent Radiologists who are highly regarded professionals in their field.

For almost a decade, have had mammograms at Memorial Care, across street from Long Beach Memorial Hospital. They are always efficient and professional.



PDI is exact opposite. Have gone here one time and everything is already a mess. I took in copies of past lab’s tests, yet when they sent results to my primary doctor they hadn’t compared old test against new. Have been trying to straighten this out for weeks. Many calls to them later, including to their manager, they still say they’ll rectify and call me back. They’ve done neither.



If they are this inept with handling customers, do they even know how to properly take and/or read mammograms?

As I made my appt., I confirme...

As I made my appt., I confirmed that the MRI was for the left foot. When we arrived, they said their paperwork authorized the left ankle. Long delays and hassle related to that. Finally got that resolved. The technician was less than friendly. He just wanted to get our MRI over with and go home since our appt had run past 5 with the hassle previously described. Two weeks later I called our Dr. to find out the results and was told that I have to contact Preferred Diagnostic to pick up the Image and report. Preferred Diagnostic Medical Records said I should have picked up the image immediately after the MRI. When I explained that their technician had not advised me of this, the clerk said that their technician would NOT have known to tell me. Well, how was I supposed to know then? Another trip over there to pick up the disc and report.



If you want a major hassle, go to this place. Otherwise, find another.

Your doctor was the person who should have told you that you would need to get the MRI CD of images (films) after your exam to take to your follow-up appointment.
