My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Cindy for over 20 years. I've had everything from just a cleaning to a crown. She and her staff are very likeable and personable people. I can't imagine going anywhere else.

Dr. Cindy Pauley and Dr. Brian Cave are a wife/husband dynamic dental duo that have further developed Brookside Dental to be even more warm, caring and professional. All three of my children have been going here as well as their parents. That’s a combined total of over 75-years!

Their dental office is beautiful. You feel like you’re entering a home living room, complete with a fireplace and refreshments as well as toys and furniture for the kids! They recently made a significant financial investment to make their office more accessible to wheelchair users as well as older patients and those of us who may be temporarily using crutches. This is concrete proof that all types of patients will feel valued here. Brookside Dental has my highest recommendation!

Dr. Brian Cave blends that rare mix of professionalism and dedication while being open and friendly. Recently I had a dental emergency at home that required me to call Dr. Brian for help. He determined over the phone that I likely needed to be seen by an endodontist for a root canal. Dr. Brian called the endodontist and then got back to me to update me and advise me on what to do. I expect my health care providers to be technical experts. But what I seek out is a doctor and staff that respect me as the patient and let me play a role in determining my health needs and required services. I get that every time I go see Dr. Brian.

Claudia is the front office manager and a master juggler of both patient concerns and determining dental insurance benefits, often at the same time! She consistently provides excellent and attentive service that is precise and caring! Claudia is one of the first people you see when you walk in. She greets you with a friendly smile and ensures you feel comfortable through the visit. She even calls you the next day to see how you are doing after a procedure and if you have any questions. She manages the front office in a manner that demonstrates efficiency and thoroughness. You can trust her professionalism and kindness.

Kelly is the front office scheduler and an expert in making patient appointments. She reminds us by using phone, email and probably smoke signals (if Dr. Brian would get that outdoor BBQ installed already, haha!). She’ll even let you know when an earlier appointment becomes available so you can see the dentists even sooner than originally planned. Kelly is friendly and approachable and is one of the first people you see when you walk in.

Lisa is one of Dr. Brian’s dental assistants and is very thorough and professional. She clearly demonstrates her strong knowledge of dental procedures and oral health issues. Lisa helps patients get ready for treatment by explaining the scheduled procedure which helps to allay patient’s fears. She also prepares patients for the procedure scheduled for their next appointment. Lisa has great people skills. She shows concern for the patients themselves, not just their dental issues.

Jessi is one of Dr. Brian’s dental assistants and is very professional and excellent in her field. She maintains a high level of quality and accuracy in her work. Jessi helps patients get ready for treatment by reviewing medical/dental history with the patient. She also provides patients with detailed post-treatment instructions. Jessi asks patients about what is going on in their lives. She makes it all about the patient and listens to them.

Barb is the dental hygienist and performs hygiene procedures in a thorough and timely manner. Treating both children and adults, she understands the different needs and characteristics of various age groups and communicates effectively with them. Barb has a great ability to see issues from the patient's point of view. She educates patients in oral hygiene instruction and explains things in a clear and friendly language. Patients love her fun and upbeat personality.

I've been coming here for over 15 years and I have loved my experiences! Highly recommended! Friendly staff and great service!

I have been going to Brookside for over 13 years now and have consistently enjoyed every experience. I really enjoy the fact that every time I walk in the front door, the receptionist welcomes me by my first name and a big smile. Then I go sit in the chair and Whitney always take incredible care cleaning my teeth and making sure I am never uncomfortable. She is fantastic! Lastly, I meet with Cindy Pauley each time who always is friendly and impresses me every time we converse. Overall, Brookside takes what often times can be a stressful time visiting the dentist and turns it into a friendly, easy, and fun experience.

We have gone to Brookside Dental since our oldest son was 1 year old. He just turned 16 and got his drivers license. We can book and get 3 appointments at once for the 3 kids, and drive 35 miles each way for visits, passing literally hundreds of dentists. Brokside Dental is amazing and worth every second in traffic. My kids love the staff, the facilities are top notch, and the experience is painless. Priceless dentistry by the best team in the business.

Brookside Dental has by far the most authentic and caring group of dentists and dental hygienists. My dad has been with Brookside Dental for 20 years, and my entire family has switched over as well because there's a clear difference between the care we receive here compared to other dentists we've seen in the past. I have been going to Brookside Dental for over 20 years. More than just cleanings, have had a filling or two. I've had my gum line lasered back, I've had a Marylin bridge done and even a little composite added between my two front teeth. Dr. Cave is very gentle and I haven't had a bad experience yet. Everyone in the office is nice and accommodating and I really like their new scheduling system.

I absolutely LOVE Brookside Dental! For years I was one of those people with major anxiety about going to the dentist. Now I never worry. Claudia always recognizes and gives me a friendly greeting when I walk in the door. As soon as I sit in the chair I am made to feel comfortable and at ease by my hygienist and Dr. Brian is always super informative and easy to talk to when I have questions about my treatment plan. I work downtown Seattle and the drive to Bellevue is well worth it!

I've been going to Brookside for 20 years now and have zero complaints. Their receptionists, hygienists and dentists are very personable and I enjoy catching up with them at each visit. Some dread going to the dentist, but I honestly don't mind it.



I have had a couple incidents needing immediate care (chipped teeth) and they have squeezed me in both times on short notice. They are very flexible and even came in once on their day off to fix my chipped front tooth.

Dr Pauley has been my dentist for more than 15 years. She and her staff at Brookside are all fantastic. They care deeply for their patients, and this shows in the quality of their work. I have been a patient of Brookside Dental for over 25 years and will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering changing dentists, or even anyone not considering changing dentists! Dr. Patricia Pauley, now retired, was my dentist originally. She was highly skilled and extremely personable. Dr. Cindy, her daughter, joined the practice several years ago, and she and her husband, Dr. Brian, have continued the tradition of excellence. When I got married, my wife was not too happy with her then dentist, so I recommended Brookside to her. She is now a patient of Dr. Cindy and is super pleased with her. When Dr. Pat retired, I became a patient of Dr. Brian and could not be more pleased with him. They have provided excellent dental care and they continue to improve and upgrade their skills and facilities to keep up with the latest advances in dentistry while maintaining their personal touch. The staff is friendly and organized. The office is clean, bright, and comfortable. I always leave there with a smile.

I became a patient at Brookside Dental in 97 when I first moved to the area and worked in Redmond. Almost 18 years later, I still have never gone to a different dentist, despite the fact that I have LONG ago moved to Seattle. The twice-yearly trip over to the Eastside is a small price to pay for such excellent care. While growing up, I frequently had cavities and problems with my teeth, and while some dentists were less bad than others, toothaches seemed to be my lot in life. Ever since getting treatment here, a weight was lifted from my shoulders. A root canal, an extraction, a few crowns and fillings later, and the pain that so often visited me became a distant memory. The work Dr. Cindy did has held up incredibly well, and I am so grateful for the care I received. Every treatment I received was as painless and quick as possible, while also extremely well executed. I also appreciate that any "upsell" of additional services, such as whitening or braces, was only ever low-key and a "No, thanks" is respected and left at that.

I have been going to Brookside for a few years and have never been so happy to go to the dentist. The entire staff is amazing from the helpful front desk, to my amazing hygienist Barb. Dr Cindy is the best! I recently had a tooth ache and over the weekend they pulled strings and got my in and treated the same day. now that is great service!!!!!!!! I would never go anywhere else

I switched from a dentist in Redmond to Brookside Dental a few years ago. I'm so thankful I did. I'm nearly 50 years old and have been going to the dentist regularly since I was in elementary school. My husband and I have been going to Brookside Dental for several years now and we really can't say enough good things about Dr. Brian Cave and all the staff there. Everyone is always very helpful. They take the time to answer any questions you may have, never making you feel like they're rushing you. Everyone is friendly and a pleasure to see. They're very knowledgeable, whether it's about billing or a procedure you're having done or just general dental questions. The cleanings are great and I leave feeling squeaky clean! We've also had some cavities filled and the work has been excellent. The office is clean and modern, the waiting room even has a play area for kids. We drive here from Seattle even though they're out of network for our insurance because it's worth it. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great dentist.

My Wife, 2 kids and I have been going to Brookside for over 20 years. They are very gentle and really great about minimizing your discomfort and pain. They care about each and every tooth you have. They are the only dentists my family will use.

I've been a patient of Dr. Cindy at Brookside Dental for around 15 years. My introduction was when I broke an entire cusp off a tooth and all I had was the Yellow Pages (the old ones--no reviews to consult!<g>) and a city map to find her since I'd been in Bellevue for a mere 3 days when it happened. I'd been a dental assistant for 16 years at that point and I was really freaked out from not knowing anyone to ask about her. But, the staff and doctors were so professional, warm and friendly I was at ease right away. Dr. Cindy took all the time and fuss required to that tooth and me all calmed down and within a few days I was back in for a crown prep and more TLC. Brookside. In every way, they've delivered the kind of extraordinary dentistry "I" require <g>. I'm picky! I am always so proud of them when they win the honors featured in local magazines and I always tell anyone in earshot if those magazines are laying around, "That's my dentist! She really is the best!"

If you are not a fan of dentists then you MUST see Dr. Cynthia Pauley and the staff at Brookside Dental! They make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in to you leave.
