        NGK-Locke produces silicone polymer insulators for transmission lines and substations.Its parent company, NGK Insulators, has more than 30 years of research and development in the polymer insulator field. North American commercial operations started in 1993. The company, which is ISO 9001 certified, has since then supplied silicone polymer insulators to major electric utilities both in the United States and worldwide. NGK-Locke has an 115,000 square foot facility producing suspension insulators and line post insulators. NGK-Locke is headquartered in Virginia Beach, Va. with U.S. sales offices in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Dallas, Baltimore, as well as Canadian offices in Ontario and Montreal.
