Middlesex Community College has been operational for more than 35 years. One of the largest community colleges in Massachusetts, MCC enrolls more than 10,000 undergraduate and graduate students annually. Spread over more than 200 acres of land, Middlesex s facilities include academic buildings, laboratories, offices, a technology-based library, medical education imaging center, concert hall, bookstore, cafeteria, student lounge and fitness center. The college offers a wide variety of activities and programs, such as campus recreation, career services, academic advising, testing and disability services, international student solutions, residential programs and student organizations. It offers several courses, including accounting, applied management, biochemistry, biophysics, computer engineering, corporate financial management, criminal justice, criminology, Earth science and economics. Middlesex Community College also offers majors in electrical engineering, English and creative writing, media communications, entrepreneurial studies, exercise and sports science, risk management, world history, and foreign languages and literature. Middlesex has campuses in Bedford and Lowell, Mass.
