Bovard-Anderson CO

This Bovard Anderson company is terrible after returning 72.00 of a 550.00 security. I file complaint with PA consumer protection. I receive their rebuttal along with a copy of a check of an additional 150.00 that I guess would be sent out after agreeing with their lies about the apartment condition on my moving out. I quote their words " we apologize for this confusion and will be mailing a check ............we hope this settles this issue
I have not receive this check that had been over three weeks ago made out to me but that's not the point. BA lied about the condition upon my leaving that could be proven by photos. In addition, although I requested a notarized walk through. They waited until the day after I handed them the one key and was on my way to another state to inspect said premise. Yes I have more proof but they stated and I quote again "we hope this settles this issue". I smile as I read these words that I had read or heard in the past, over and over again. Then I laugh "we hope this settles this matter". Oh! by the way the letter is signed by property manager as agent for owner Jacqueline C. McLaughlin

If I could give them less than one start I would. It took them months to find a supposed quality tenant for my property as they were to market and manage it and they talked me into going with a tenant who moved in and skipped out of his lease right away. They got to keep the rent and then they took all sorts of pictures of my property and claimed that the minor defects in the property were the reason the tenant bailed and that all the sudden the defects were a problem. They weren't a problem before they marketed the property and got a tenant, however? Once they got their money, they didn't care and they didn't pursue the tenant who skipped out on the lease whatever. Jackie told me they don't do that and they aren't a collection agency and that's my job to pursue the tenant. So what would I be paying you for again each month?? The tenants can move in, trash the place and take off and Bovard won't do a thing for you. They make it sound great when they meet with you but they don't do anything but draw up a lease and do the leg work of showing the place. Then, after the tenant bailed, they said they would find another tenant and keep that first month's rent AGAIN!? Thanks but no thanks... This business is an absolute joke. I guess they don't care about their reputation at all and figure they will make their money one way or another. Don't sign anything with them!

I can't even give this company a single star. I have dealt with a lot of shady people in business but never have I encountered people like those at Bovard. On top of being completely rude, arrogant and ignorant humans, they are unethical and disgusting business people. They do not care about their customers in the least, simply their bottom line and they will cross all boundaries of truth and ethics to obtain their money. If I were a property owner I would be embarrassed to have associated myself with this joke of a company. While we have been renting from them they have failed to maintain small and large issues that as a management company are in their job description. They are by far the worst company and group of people I have ever had the unfortunate chance of working with. If you are thinking about doing business with them, DON'T.

Dave Morton is a nightmare. We were ripped off as well and Jaclyn McLaughlin co owner does not care about bad publicity. The company lies, shows you places, calls you back on places you have already seen and not qualify for. They do not tell you up front that they are the front man for homeowners who only care about your credit score and nothing else. If I had a high credit score I would buy not rent. Please look elsewhere if you want a positive non rip off agency.

I will never go through bovard anderson again. One of the worst experiences I have ever gone through was with real estate agent Bruce Flemming. Robbed me of over a grand!!! He is a liar and will tell you what you want to hear but as I found out he is living in the neighborhood of make believe.

I have a property that is managed by this company for a little over a year now. While the agent responsible for overseeing this property and coordinating the rental efforts is an absolute gem, my experience with most everyone else at this agency (including the co-owner) has been less than stellar. I find that a vast majority of the employees lack communication skills and professionalism, as they are almost always abrupt and rude to both me and my tenants. I also find that the maintenance department rarely if ever notifies me of any problems reported by my tenant, even though my property management agreement states they are to call me prior to making repairs so I can file a claim with my homeowner's warranty provider. As a result, they have cost me thousands of dollars in repair costs that would've been covered by the warranty provider. Additionally, they do not enforce the tenants compliance with the terms of the rental agreement nor do they properly address tenant-landlord issues, and that has resulted in unnecessary costs being incurred for items the tenant was responsible for paying as identified in the agreement. I have that property listed for sale now because they are the only agency in the area that manages properties, and I simply do not want to continue doing business with them.

They are a good company, especially considering the lack of legit property management companies in this area. They are much better than Premier Property Management, I know that! The one female agent (I will keep name confidential) was very helpful and respectful in my dealings with her.

horrible rental agency they do not go by the lease but you have to and they will rip you off. their contractos are horrible to hershel and some young kid.
