Tuffy Auto Service Centers

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!
I was having muffler problems out of town so I decided to take a chance with your Tuffy auto Center located on Euclid in Bay City , MI. The service manager, Mike, quickly had the car on a lift and then proceeded t make me wait 20 minutes while he worked up an estimate. When he finished he informed me that my "throttle body was dirty and needed to be cleaned". His evidence was a dirty Q-tip to support this issue. The muffler and carb cleaning would cost $468.00. I declined and informed him that what I asked for was a replacement muffler. He told me the muffler replacement would be $280.00. I declined and requested he remove my car from the hoist. I told him that would have it done at my local franchise muffler center. He questioned me on the price and I informed him that it would be substantially less that his quoted price. I had the muffler replace this morning, locally, for $105.60. Mike, the service manager was polite, cordial but I feel he tried to take advantage of my "out of town" situation and attempted to sell me needless and inflated services. He tried to take advantage of me. I will make it a point to leave negative feedback on relevant websites and inform anyone interested of the lack of character at this site. As a college teacher, I see approximately 350 students per week every semester. Everyone of them is going to hear about the nature of doing business at the Tuffy location on Euclid in Bay City, MI.

I took my car here and got it fixed I needed my brakes fixed and they do a wonderful job all the way, Come here to get it done.
