I signed up on Black Friday weekend & was not to have a pymt taken out until 01/2014. In Dec. 2013 they took a pymt out. I contacted PF in Bay City & they would have Ryan the manager call me back. Next day I hadn't heard from him so I called back. I told him the situation & he told me I needed to bring a bank stmt in. I saw the pymt taken out of my bank on my daily activity & it wasn't the end of the month so I didn't have a bank stmt yet. So I asked him why do I have to go out of my way to take in a stmt when they are the ones who withdrew the pymt from my bank account? A weeek before Christmas & I am limited on my time. Needless to say, he then screamed at me & told me again I needed to take a bank stmt & then he hung up on me. I called him right back & told him I don't appreciate being hung up on & asked who his manager was. He said "I AM THE MANAGER!" I asked for his manager & he would tell me who it was. I asked for Corporates phone number & he said, "if you want corporates number then you go on the internet & find it because I am not giving it to you!". So I did & contacted corporate & they were in shocked at the way he treated me. They had the district manager, LIsa Rittmaier contact me. Long of the short, I told her what happened & she looked into & called me back to state it was there error & they would credit my bank acct. As a previous business owner myself, I told that Ryan the manager is rude, arrogant & extremely unprofessional. She said they will coach him. Well, some people are just not management material and should not deal with the customers directly.



Come to find out, in talking to others about the Bay City PF all I heard from them was negavtive remarks regarding how rude Ryan is, how he mistreats the staff at PF & is rude to customers. These previous customers told me that they were dropping comment cards in the box rating Ryan as horrible & riduculous. Funny that the district manager claims she never received them. The staff is afraid of him because intimidates them and they dread going to work. Previous members told me they cancelled because they couldn't bare to watch him mistreat others & the atomosphere is heavy & uncomfortable. I told Lisat the district manager about all this & they are keeping him on board as a manager. I told her if he stays then we will go elsewhere. Since they've breached our contract, I am cancelling our memberships and going to the Y. Wow, PF really values their customers??? What a joke! I told district manager I was going to write reviews so I am telling everyone what type of manager PF has at its Bay City location. And PF wonders why nobody wants to go their facility? Horrible management!
