        Not a great experience

        My daughter is due to have her first child tomorrow and I decided to treat her to a mani/pedi before the big day. We didn't have any previous experience of any of the nail salons in Battle Ground and I remembered seeing the Star Nails Salon and we thought we'd give them a try. We got a late start after I got off work and called at 5:00 to see if it was too late for us to get in. The women sounded happy to accomodate us, so we went. Right as soon as we walked in, we recieved a bad attitude from the employees. I'm not sure if they're always so rude and acting put out or if they were just ticked that we came in an hour before quitting time but it wasn't pleasant non-the-less. They could have said that it was too late and we'd have made other plans. They did an okay job on the services we got but w both my daughter and I were very apologetic the entire time and made to feel bad. We had to laugh when we finally left because it certainly was an experience we'll never forget!

        Would never go back

        Worst costumer service I have witnessed in a long time. Did a ok job with the mani & pedi, but were not friendly and were short with us the whole time. We would never go back.

        DON'T GO HERE IF YOU WANT QUALITY NAILS

        I have been getting my nails done for over 6 years and have NEVER had such a terrible job done. I had a full set put on...A full set done in 25 minutes!!??? the tips are not glued to my nails and grit gets under them, my cuticles were not cleaned up, the gel chipped at the cuticles the first day, there are tip sizes that are way too big for my nail size and look ridiculous, I asked for the cream shine (pink cream) and was told no and got a supposedly $25.00 a bottle topcoat which I hate, the sides were not filed down, they are crooked...Tiffany is the only one in the shop who does full sets and fills and she had 4 other people behind me and told them it would only be about a 20 minute wait from beginning to end. Really??? I don't even have the desire to go back and get them fixed because my faith in her is gone. I am just letting them grow out and will get a backfill later from someone reputable. People do NOT go to this salon if you want nice nails. Also when I called I was told $25.00 for the set and was charged $40. I asked for pink fill and got white. When I tried to talk she didn't listen. She said she has many years experience and fast doesn't mean bad. Well..take my word...it IS BAD!
