Dr. Makulski always knew she wanted to be a doctor, even as a young child. She chose family practice because she enjoys treating people of all ages, developing a relationship with her patients and working to help keep them healthy. Her parents have been the biggest influence in her life, and she’s grateful for the wonderful foundation they gave her to pursue this career path. Dr. Makulski has a special interest in treating diabetes, especially because she lost her mother to complications of poorly controlled diabetes. When she isn’t at work, she enjoys participating in activities at her daughter’s school, spending time with her family, as well as sewing and doing crafts.I most enjoy getting to know my patients and their family. I think it is important to develop a partnership with them to help improve their health and to motivate them to take an active role in their healthcare.
