Barrington High School provides academic education and extracurricular programs and activities, and serves students in grades nine through 12. The school s curriculum includes various disciplines, such as English, foreign languages, mathematics, fine and applied arts, science and social studies, and family and consumer sciences. The school offers various extracurricular activities, including art, business, chess bowling, forensic science and debate clubs. Additionally, the school has a library providing a large collection of books, periodicals, audiovisual materials, magazines and newspapers, and offers access to the Internet. Barrington High School also offers career-oriented programs and provides SAT and ACT preparation programs. It also offers various athletic activities, including basketball, golf, football, volleyball, swimming and tennis. The high school is located in Barrington, Ill.
