La Costa Mariscos

Although my long time friend that was in town from Florida and I enjoyed catching up.... unfortunately the customer service @ La Costa was poor and disappointing and the impression they left upon us was negative. I will not be returning to this establishment..... I've frequent this restaurant as far back as my Jim Burke Ford Days and their old location. I was truly looking forward to checking out their new location and left disheartened. Customer Service is essential in a business. Although pleasant atmosphere the young men in your "Bar area" need a course on etiquette 101.

We were over looked several times. Bartender I found to be abrasive when he addressed us in regards to being "Last Call?"

1) My friend and I were interrupted abruptly in the middle of conversation.... keep in mind she and I haven't seen each other in 3 yrs and she was here from out of state. Your bartender that interrupted said "either you want a drink or you dont?" Was completely uncalled for. The same bartender that forgot our order for 20 minutes (1 Corona 1 cranberry & Vodka?) We found "Danny interesting as he apologized to my friend & I all evening on behalf of his brother the bartender?
I do apologize for not knowing your hours of operation. Your bartender approached us at 8:25 p.m. Had I known your hours I would have Choosen a different restaurant. In which just before we walked out at 9 p.m we observed 2 young ladies that came in and we're served. Mixed signal for us because your server & bartender where never specific on time of closure.

2) Your waiter/servers comment such as "This isn't the "Eastside" was not only disturbing but a direct profiling statement in which we found to be offensive. (P.S I unfortunately don't live in the Eastside...

As I sat there with my bill in hand. I called a couple of close friends that own their own business and reached out to personal friends that are bartenders and servers and replayed all that took place at La Costa and each one said the same
"Customer Service is Key"

You see although I had poor service I struggled with the "tip" in which that is why I made those calls. I'm a great tip person. In 22 yrs I've never left a .50 tip in my life till last night. My bill was only $89.08 & for me to walk away and leave a $. 50 tip broke my heart. That should speak volumes to you as the owner about whom you have greeting and serving your customers.
This is just feed back from my experience. I was a customer for 6 yrs. I hope no one else encounters what I witnessed last night.
I know it's the holidays I know everyone is busy. But common courtesy goes along way.

Love it now my favorite spot no complaints from me

best Mexican food in town, always good and fresh, and excellent service,

amazing food and atmosphere. its got delicious sea food fajitas. but all there food is great. never been disappointed.

Has some bomb plates of shrimp. Me and my daughter were giing for shrimp coctail but once we got t the menu we couldnt decide. I mean there are soo much ti choose from. We tried the shrinp salad it was great!
