Avon Urgent Care

Dirty, slow, extremely unprofessional. Said they accepted my insurance before appointment and then demanded I pay out of pocket afterwards. Theft. Saw the doctor for less than a minute - he did not bother to explain diagnosis and when I asked the nurse she was unable to answer BASIC questions about treatment. Horrible care, dishonest policies.

Fast and easy visit with a very nice doctor!!! The facility was very clean and all the nurses where nice too. I would definitely go back to this place if in need of a doctor.

Amazing care and excellent staff. The entire facility is clean and well maintained. The wait was less than fifteen minutes and I was on my way home in about an hour. They've followed up with me a couple of times in the past few weeks; they truly are concerned with my health and well being. Five stars to Dr. Nelson in particular.

Dr. Vance Raham is the worst!! The care is terrible!! I went in due to I stepped on a nail in my big toe. They did not clean up my toe. They just put a small bandaid on it without any bacterial killer! I was told my pain was not worthy for pain killer. I was told to just take tylenol. I am in a lot of pain Yet they put on my paper work that I said my pain was a 2/10. I was never asked how much pain I was in. Maybe if I came in screening & crying maybe they would have seen that I need pain killers better then tylenol. I am not a drug attic in fact I never see the doctor Like I should (Dr.'s like Raham is the reason I don't go see doctors). I will never go back to Avon Urgent Care nor will I ever recommend anyone to go here!!

I have been going there for two years now and love the doctors and how I have been treated. They are not only an urgent care they have became my general practitioner

It was very quick i was in and out in a matter of an hour and with that they did not skip the care they were all very friendly to me and my children.

Not to long ago I had to take my child to the doctor, but since it was around 9:00 pm and their doctor closes shop at 7:00. I was out of luck. While I was driving back home I happened to see the Avon Urgent Care sign and they were still open. I stop by and they were very professional and kind to my child and I. I would go back if I ever have a late night emergency with my family/friends.

Don't visit them if you have a bad cold or cough because they don't care. You will be told to take OTC meds that do not help or you may be given Robitussin A-C which is completely useless and doesn't help. These Doctors under prescribe and do not care if you are suffering. Its a shame these doctors are more worried about the DEA than their patient's health and well being.

this was a great expereiance the location was great and it was the first time that i have taken my child to any other doctor except for his peditrition and the doctor trated him as if he was a personal patient of his, now i know where i can go when i can not get in to see his doctor thank you avon urgent care

I came into this urgent care center for a black eye got by work related activities and a small cut on my face. They made me pay 114.00 up front wich is understanable and a clear sign its a business and not into the concern of others. I was then after waiting in an empty waiting room for 10 min to a 5 min episode of cleaning my scrape and followed by application a liquid bandaid. No extras. I was finished and recieved a bill for an additional bill for 388.00 dollers for a small amount of work. This price gauging and explotation of people is the reason healthcare is in the state it is in and under so much scrutinty. If you want to help somone pay your mother and you will pay half the price and get a kiss and a warm heart also. I wouldnt steer anyone to them and if you are considering them drive further or go home.
