I am very displeased with this company! I called about getting a lathe repaired and was told someone would return my call. After 2 days passed and noone called, I called again, this time I was told "Steven wasn't in today, I'll have him call you tomorrow." Tomorrow came and went without a call, but being persistent I called again and finally talked with Steven. I told him what the problem was based on information from Powermatic. I was told they would have to come see, and since I live quit a distance from Austin there would be a travel fee. I was not opposed to that, since I have no way to take a 700 lb lathe to them but it did seem like they could make the trip and do the repair the same day. But they would not take my word for what needed repair (I'm a mere woman, after all.) So another week goes by before they finally come out to look and sure enough it was what I told them was wrong! Now they have to order parts! The parts come in and now it is too near Christmas for them to make another trip out here (that was on the 21st). We set up a time, I clear my schedule and wait. The appointed time comes and goes, no show, no call. After 2 hours, I call and leave a message on Steven's mobile, no return call! I call again, the office number this time. They patch me through to Steven who tells me the technician couldn't make it today. (I am VERY annoyed but polite.) We reschedule for today. They assure me they will leave Austin by 8:30 AM which means they should be here by no later than 10:00. At 11:30 no one is here, I start calling again. I reached Steven who doesn't seem to know why I'm calling, He tells me he will call the technician and see what is going on and call me right back. That was 4 hours ago!
