Covell Susan

Susan is the 3rd counselor I've taken my 15 year old son to, and the only one he was comfortable enough with to open up to. Not only that, when she learned that he was dealing with depression she made it a priority to see him ASAP. She has kids of her own, a son, so she seems to know how to relate well. He agreed to see her again, which to me is like finding the rainbow, and to see improvement is gold. I'm very grateful!

Facility is great - privacy and parking good. And as my son put it, "she knows what she's doing."

I found this therapist, who supposedly specializes in same sex couples who have children, to be very rigid. She places the partners in categories (like one wants more intimacy, the other wants to avoid it). I found very little help from her regarding my relationship and my special-needs guy. She is not all bad, but tends to be glib when it comes to serious matters.
