You CAN NOT get any one to answer the phone, except a nameless sub contractor in St Louis. I tried to work with them. I called them 6 times over ONE issue and they still can't get it right, I am finished with this rag.
PROBLEM----NO LEADERSHIP!

Had been subscriber (home delivery) to AAS for years and continued even after they moved production to Houston or San Antonio which meant that the cut-off for news, sports, etc. was 7:00PM. Recently they increased prices for home delivery which I found to be inordinate and cancelled my subscription. I had just paid for one month in advance and they stopped it cold 23 days ahead of time. BBB should investigate the business morals of this entity and reassess rating.

Buyer be ware if you are planning on advertising with the American statesman or any of it's co's I would get my Atty to check their contracts. I ran adds with them and was told something very dif than what happened. Then a year later they are sending 5 year old contracts for adds that were ran then as a proof of claim

They are as crooked as they come

I have tried to reach this paper for several days. The web site is not a help at all as the phone numbers listed leave you on hold with automation for time untold. After several attempts to reach an actual breathing person I have given up. Companies like this hide from the public for a reason...what are you hiding and why are you so afraid to talk to your readers in person? Did you take lessons from the CEO of BP in how to avoid the public? Well, you passed with flying colors. Jerkwads.
