Established in 1983, Maine Veterans' Homes is a public, nonprofit organization that operates more than five facilities in Maine. It provides a range of care and support services for veterans and their families. The organization offers skilled nursing, rehabilitative, and Alzheimer's disease, dementia and residential long-term care services. Additionally, it provides pet, physical, occupational and speech therapies as well as various financial assistance programs.
