I was there for 2hrs for my appt., then for the 1st time ever, I could not get even single vision glasses without giving them MY frames! The next day my glasses were picked up for me and I couldn't see out of them! The doctor screwed up my RX! I do not have a vehicle, have a chronic pain condition and couldn't get the glasses back up there for 4 more days. I requested that they just redo the glasses with my old RX since I had no way to be up there for an entire new exam, I had the glasses dropped off and daughter went to pick them up 24 hrs later. They were not even touched, we were to,d the office manager didn't come into work & they doctor I saw wouldn't be back for 4 more days to approve my old RX so I could have glasses to wear! I felt extremely uncomfortable there during my initial visit as well! I should of just paid $30 & order glasses on EyeBuyDirect . Com! They are WAY YOO EXPENSIVE and could care less about the customer!

Update: It took over a month, but I now have progressive glasses that I can actually use. They get the four stars for sticking to getting things finally done. They have room for improvement, but after reviewing the entire situation, I can recommend them. I am picky, sometimes too much so, take it for what it's worth. I am a champion of the local businesses and would always rather choose local.

I assumed that 1 Hour Optical meant that perhaps, I might get my glasses in a day. I was not told until the end, after my credit card had been run that it would take 10 days to get my glasses. In addition to that, they have a byzantine process that is designed to confuse the customer and get you to pay for things you do not want. Finally I asked at the very beginning if I would be given my full prescription on paper, including pupil distance. Again, at the end they tried to charge me $50 for that. I know that when they first opened, they had a lens making machine, because I got my glasses the next day. Perhaps they should change their name to 10 Day Optical. I have not received my glasses yet and it has been ten days. I called at 9 days hoping they had come in, but after they called me back, they informed me that it always took the full ten days. I will adjust my review after I get the glasses and see if they got them right. I paid for the best progressive that they have to offer and of course had to get the non glare coating, because I was told that it was not possible to get the full (computerized progressive lenses) without the non glare. This company has changed the way they do business since the original owner sold it. I will say the Dr. was nice, personable and professional. Everyone else was cool, detached and I got the distinct impression that that I was not a valued customer, but more of a metric to be sold the most that I could be sold. They were very, very busy and stay that way. Perhaps the staff are overworked and perhaps to be competitive, they have to run those numbers games to confuse the customer, but it was not that way a few years ago when I went there.

Picked up my glasses two days ago. They were friendly and a little nicer. This is the third person that I dealt with. I was prepared to give them two more stars, but the prescription is not what was described. I was told that I would have a pretty good left and right field of view. What I have is so narrow as to be unusable. I also cannot see my computer screen without using the very bottom of my lenses. I will go back and see how they deal with this.

Third trip.. I am frustrated... They are very nice, but these glasses do not work. They adjusted them, but I still cannot see to type this without leaning my head back. Now, when I am driving I cannot see left or right. She says they are correct according to the prescription and now says to try them out a week, then come back because I might need a larger frame. That was the first thing I asked... was the frame I picked large enough for a progressive lens? They said yes... frustrating..... I do not believe that these glasses are correct. And correct or not, I cannot use them..

My wife, two of my boys and I are/were patients at your facility. We have decided to discontinue our visit there because of my last experience there trying to obtain lenses for my son. We came there for an exam on the 16th Feb this year. We left and came back with our frames to have his lenses ordered through your establishment. Well I know that with my insurance it goes through Davis Vision and it takes at the max 5 days from our previous experiences. Well I thought that I should call to check on my son's lenses order. I called on the 26th Feb and was told by the tech that the lenses were ordered on the 16th. So I asked her why it was taking so long for the order. She then informed me that there was something wrong with the order and they had to reorder it that same day which was the 16th. I stated to her to please contact me in the future if there is a problem with the order because my son needed his glasses. I then told her that I will call my insurance company to find out what was the hold up. She then informed me that she had spoken to the insurance company and that they requested a rush on it. This conversation took place on the 26th as I stated above. I still contacted my insurance company to find out what was the hold up. I was then informed by my insurance company that the order was not placed until the 26th Mar. I then asked them why it took so long for the order to be placed. They informed me that they saw that I was there on the 16th and did not know why the order wasn't placed that same day since it is done electronically. Well they, my insurance company called the lab to put a rush on the order. The first order did not come in for some reason. A third rush order was placed and we finally received his lenses on the 7th Mar. I do understand that your facility not receiving the lenses was not fault but a shipment error I suppose. It showed that the front desk signed for it but there was not any lenses for him there which resulted in another rushed ordered. What We are upset about is the fact that it was not ordered initially until the 26th Feb, 10 days after our exam date and when I call to inquire about it, I was then lied to that it was ordered on the 16th Feb and it was repeated to me to reassure me that it was. I did stress my dissatisfaction to my insurance company and from that they offered to send me a list of other providers that I could go to. It is sad that 4 clients were lost in one shot because the clerk could not be honest with me. We could and would understand if she came back and stated that it was an oversight on their part and it was not ordered and that she would have it ordered right away and put a rush on it, but she decided to have me believe that it was ordered on the 16th even when I asked it if she was sure. She then gave me the excuse that there was a problem with the order.

Went there with my husband and sons to get glasses. The customer service in the store was the most unprofessional I have seen in a long time - from constantly chewing gum (smacking like an old cow) to the I could care less attitude, to ordering the wrong prescription. SAVE YOUSELF THE HASSLE AND GO ELSEWHERE!!!!!!
