It's way over-priced and the food isn't very good. You should try Mikoto or Matsu Sige; the prices are the same or possible less but the quality of ingredients and the service are much higher. I just had to pay $45 for a lunch that should have cost probably $20 and I feel very ripped off.

YOU WILL LOVE THIS PLACE

This is the best sushi place in Augusta. It is run by a group of energetic, lovely women who prepare your food as you wait. The sush melts in your mouth with the just slightly warm rice around it. Each meal comes with the complimentary sald side dish that will make you want for more. The atmosphere is causal, peaceful - a little place of heaven. After the hustle and bustle of Taco Sushi - also a very good sushi place- Kinja 2 is an oasis of calm. You can take as much time as you want to order, you can refill your drink at your leisure. You can add to your order without facing the crowd of hungry customers waiting for your seat. I greatly recommend this place for intimate dates and family reunions. Small and large booths as well as a sushi bar with the TV make thiis place what you wan it to be. The menu offers meat dishes and soups as well. We have eaten there at least 50 times and took out a dozen times in the last 18 months.

Never Disappoints

Great, fresh sushi, sashimi, and nigiri. Their gyoza appear to be handmade and are great steamed or fried (I prefer steamed). Our children love the fried squid, edamame, fresh tuna sashimi, sticky rice and especially the "marble" drinks from the cooler. Very good Korean fare as well--definitely try the soon doo boo on a cold day or if you're feeling under the weather. I get it every time I feel a cold coming on. The staff are very friendly, and service is usually pretty quick depending on how full the restaurant is. Try Kinja 1 (the original) on Washington Road as well. You'll get to meet the famous Sushi Man himself!
