MCGHealth is a nonprofit corporation that manages the clinical operations of the MCGHealth Medical Center, which is a 470-plus-bed facility. MCGHealth also operates the MCGHealth Sports Medicine Center. It is also an academic medical center that provides a range of clinical services and maintains infrastructure to foster education and research.
