A Child s World, founded in 1982, is one of the largest locally owned and operated child care companies in the central Savannah river area. It has more than 10 centers in the CSRA, including Augusta, Evans, Grovetown, Ga., and North Augusta, S.C. It offers prekindergarten classes and after school programs that include homework time, outdoor sports, learning programs and art and craft activities. Its summer program includes water sports, reading programs, special field trips, dramatics and art projects. It is licensed by the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning and has video cameras installed to cover all classrooms and playgrounds. It serves breakfast, lunch and snacks prepared as per the guidelines set by the United States Department of Agriculture.

Our staff is trained in First Aid/CPR, Fire Safety, plus at least ten hours of approved classes There is a management team, consisting of a Director and Assistant Director, who oversee the operation of each center.
