Blood Bank Computer Systems, privately owned and operated, develops software solutions for blood centers and cross match laboratories. Started in 1987, BBCS is a member of the America Association of Blood Banks and a sponsor of the National Blood Foundation. The company s product line includes Blood Bank Control System 5.0 and Mobile 5.0 and has partnered with IBM, AABB and Digi-Trax. Some of its clients include Atlanta Blood Services, Blood Bank of Alaska, Blood Bank of Delmarva, Cascade Regional Blood Services, Central Illinois Community Blood Center, Central Jersey Blood Center, Central Pennsylvania Blood Bank, Coastal Bend Blood Center and Community Blood Bank of the Lancaster County Medical Society. Located in Auburn, Wash., BBCS provides 24-hour, seven-days a week customer support.
