Chuck Hagerman Interventionist, Addiction Recovery, and Sober Coach A Sober Coach is not a Treatment Facility but a proven Program of Recovery. We are not; Therapist, Sponsor, Cop, Banker, or Miracle Worker. We are recovering addicts whose job is helping addicts free themselves of the slavery to their addiction. An intervention or Sober Coach could just save the life of your loved one or your self. He/she is a recovered alcoholic/addict who gives hope to the alcoholic/addict and their family when they thought all hope had been lost. Any alcoholic/addict will not get clean & sober until they are ready. Both an Intervention and a Sober Coach works with them on a close personal one to one basis to help them get ready, to raise their bottom so they can feel the bottom. The Sober Coach offers them guidance, support, solutions and new insights. He teaches them how to achieve self-discipline so they can continue working on their recovery and STAY clean & sober. He helps awaken their spirit of willingness, honesty, and open-mindedness, which are essential parts of recovery. He spends time working with the family: helping them recognize how addiction has affected their lives, as well and to help them with their own recovery. He provides vital resources and links to extended communities that can be of even more help. The Sober Coach brings a complete Holistic program to the Addicts Recovery. He works with his client to break down the barriers to recovery and teaches them to recognize the signs that set their relapse cycle are in motion. He helps guide the change in attitudes, emotions, and ideas. He helps build a strong connection to the recovery community and other resources that are available to address the individual struggles the client may have. He also helps the early recovering addict who has recently left residential treatment and who will have to face all the temptations, pressures, and old using friends that existed in their life before entering the residential setting. An intervention or Sober Coach could just save the life of your loved one or your self.
