Sonshine Cakes

I had my wedding June 2010 and chose Robin Fowler at Sonshine Cakes. I am so glad I did. She is the most down-to-earth person and is very talented at what she does. She specializes in butter cream cakes and also makes beautiful sugar flowers. She did a gorgeous job with our wedding cake -- we had an elegant ivory-on-ivory design piped onto a hexagonal 4-tier cake. It looked just as finished and beautiful as any fondant cake. The cake was yellow butter with caramel filling. It was extremely moist and the butter cream icing was soft and delicious. Our wedding guests went back for second and third helpings. The groom's cake was also delicious (chocolate cake with raspberry filling) and got rave reviews from our guests. Robin is very kind and customer-oriented. Her prices are very reasonable, she will answer your phone calls, and pays attention to what you want. I can't imagine suggesting any other bakery in Auburn, AL.
