August 2010. Another great stay and fishing trip with Capt. Billy Brewer and wife Barbara. Modest, homey old style beach motel with a deep shaded porch. Rooms immaculate. Room rates and charter fees very reasonable. Captains and mates that work off the dock treat you like family and good friends. Fishing made simple. Walk out your room, a few steps to the back porch dock, into your chartered boat with gear provided. Out on causeway as sun comes up. Small inshore, offshore custom trips. Just over Atlantic Beach bridge on the left. Freeman's Tackle is next door. About 3 blocks back from Atlantic Beach Boardwalk. Several good restaurants in close distance on both sides of highway although traffic can be a little heavy for walking at times. Great husband and wife fishing. Also small fishermen groups. Historic Beaufort, Morehead City , NC Aquarium, Fort Macon, and public pier fishing within short driving distance. Good fun catch of Spanish Mackrel. Cleaned and bagged right on the dock
