Miz Scarletts

We had looked at a few other stores in GA but was not very impressed with their selection of styles or sizes. So we came to Miz Scarletts last for a homecoming dress and at first I was overwhelmed by allllllllll the beautiful gowns and accessories but the lady pulled gowns for me and my sister and I was very impressed!!!!! We got the alterations on them which was not as expensive as I would've thought and it looks perfect ...wish I could attach pictures but camera is broke lol. Me and my sister found the perfect dresses for homecoming court and I'm confident our night will be magical. THANK YOU MIZ SCARLETT!!!

I had a Great experience at Miz Scarletts!! They have a wide variety of dresses and they did a great job picking dresses for me..they were not pushy at all and didn't rush me. Very professional..I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dress at a reasonable price

Going into Miz Scarletts I instantly start looking for Rhett..lol..antastic store..whimsical dresses, happy people..I purchased a gown for an event and was really happy with it..keep up the good work!

This place is a dream for true for any girly girl! Dresses galore..different colors, rhinestone, lengths, fabric..I absolutely love this place. I purchased two dresses..one fit perfect and the other I had to get altered but the experience was great. Attendants in the store are friendly and helpful as well

Purchased a dress from here for my daughter's dance. We spent hours in the store because the selection and variety was almost overwhelming. My daughter found the dress of her dreams and it didn't totally kill my pockets..definitely going back for her prom dress!!

I called probably almost every boutique in US to find out if they had the dress I was looking for. Finally I called Miz Scarlet and she said that they had my dress. She made my day I was very polite and professional. I will definitely go back there to get my dress .
I am surprised by all the negative comments because they are nowhere near what I experienced

It's a lovely store with an array of nice dresses. However, I would have expected more crinoline and silk tafetta to match the 19th-century ideology.

Wish I could give the store a negative star rating. If you are crazy enough to buy a dress from here, take it and do not have it altered there. Take it and run. I purchased my daughter's prom dress here and left it for alterations. I was told it would be ready in a week, and that they would call when it was ready. 10 days later I phoned to see if it was ready. They said they would check and call me back. This went on for 3 days - I would call, they would say they would check and get back with me, but they wouldn't. Finally after 3 days of getting the runaround, I went to get the dress. They could not find it. There were 2 other Mothers/Daughters in the store with the same exact situation. One dress, which was already paid for, was located back on the rack to resell. One dress, which was paid for, was never located because it was sold to someone else. We found our dress, but it had been resold to someone else and was on a rack ready for that person to pick up. I finally convinced the sales associate to let my daughter try it on, as it had been altered, and my daughter is tiny. When it fit like a glove, they finally agreed it was ours. The alterations had ruined the dress. Beads and sequins were missing in patches all along the bottom of the dress. They told me to leave it and they would fix it. Are you kidding? You want me to leave a dress that I paid for, that you resold, and that you ruined? I was told that the owner was out of town (read that in other reviews so she leaves town a lot). I phoned a week later to get a refund and was told that she would fix the dress but would not refund me. She also denied every single story I told her about the 2 girls in the store at the same time as we were who were also ripped off. She denied that anyone's dress had been resold, and she denied every story that I told her that her own sales associate had shared with me. Per her sales associate, the same situation was happening repeatedly for over 2 weeks. This means that dozens of girls were going through this same dress nightmare right before Prom! The owner refuses to refund or compensate because she refuses to admit that she was committing crimes. This store will not be in business for long. Google the owners name, Susan Smithson, and you will see why.

This place is absolutely stunning! When I first walked into the door, I didn't know where to start off, because there were so many dresses in my face! Miz Scarlett is so polite. The lady who works there two months out of the year is so polite. Even though there were so many customers in Mz. Scarletts, the lady still managed to assist me and my friend right away for our prom fittings. She hand selects dresses that match what you are looking for. I never have been to a prom store with TWO floors. It was amazing. When we sat down, she offered us a refreshment. Very polite people. I would recommend Mz. Scarletts to any girl/woman looking for a dress.

PLEASE pay attention to the negative reviews. We were out of town customers and never have I experienced such terrible business practices. After paying $500 for a dress, $180 for alterations, and $120 for a pair of shoes, I received a dress in the mail that had over 75% of the sequins scratched and missing, faulty alterations, and a pair of shoes that were the wrong color and the completely wrong shoe. The shoe I received sold for $45 on the internet. I am stuck with all this and it is less than 2 weeks until my daughter's dance and Miz Scarlett's does not answer the phone, their voice mailbox is full, or if they do answer, they are busy and say they will call you back (but they don't). Susan told me she would send UPS to pick up the dress and she would replace all the damaged sequins but it has been over a week and I have not heard from them.

Oh the gowns are so pretty, and theres so many that you simply can't go through it all in one sitting. I'd suggest making at least three trips to see it all. And the service is excellent. I had my Prom dress just in time for my highschool prom. A Great store and Susan is awesome!

Never had a problem with Susan or Miz Scarletts in general. Great place to buy your first prom dress, or wedding gown. Owner hand delivered my wedding gown on short notice at my wedding in Tupelo, Ms 8 hours away at no extra charge. CAN YOU BEAT THAT?

Omg they have like all of these pretty dresses from europe and all kinds of colors it's almost seizure enducing! I love going there, the prices might be high but that always comes with the brand name right? Employees are always fantastically friendly, and I've always gotten my dress on time. GREAT PLACE FOR PROM!

This place deserves ZERO STARS!! If you have a special event to buy for, PLEASE RUN from this place and find a reputable dress shop in Atlanta such as Bravura .There are many others. Susan Smithson had no respect for me and my daughter as first time customers who drove 4 hrs to her shop after she intentionally told us she has a dress which she did not.( We made 4 calls to her to confirm this the day we set out). She gave us an exhausting run-around for two months regarding this elusive prom dress, then when she agreed to credit us, no credit came. She dodged phone calls and was so unprofessional that I had to enter into a credit card dispute. I can't imagine what a bride and/or her bridal party would have to experience with her. Save yourself the guaranteed agony and do not give this woman a dime of your hard earned dollars. She will most assuredly take advantage of you!!

This establishment deserves a negative star. The salesperson Susan misrepresents the store and falsifies information that she gives to potential customers. Items that were supposed to be sent were never sent, items that were supposed to be returned, have never been credited to our account. If you want to give your money away and be annoyed by two dogs while you are shopping the store then this is the place for you!
