If I could award NO STARTS or NEGATIVE STARS i would!!! MFI Corporation (aka American Home/property/business/investor Trust is owned by Lawrence Ken Swenson Jr and his wife Amy Felton Swenson. I was promised on November 29, 2010 a closing within a min 2 wks and max 3 wks...that didn't happen. Mid Jan 2011 Ken stated that he had to return the paperwork bc he didn't like the terms that were sent based on my needs and closing would be end of Jan 2011. then that came n went. He stated closing Mid Feb, came and went n supposedly his dad died so end of Feb 2011 for close. Still nothing so I cancelled. The fee I paid him, $103,000 was, based on on contract 100% refundable for any reason and not to be transferred until after closing. Well, He needed 2 wks to get my refund and "formal release docs". He never contacted me. FINALLY on March 17, he replied ONLY because I reported hi. to SEVERAL US agencies. he needed 2-14 days and I would have it back. D day was April3, 2011. I asked him if we were on schedule for my refund by April 3, 2011 and he replied March 30, 2011 with "Yes we are on schedule". Last I heard from him. Wont respond to me or my attorneys!!!! So, all my COMPLAINTS are now upgraded to full fledged reports and we are preparing to sue him!! Don't give this guy your money!!! He belongs in jail! makes it out to seem like its a big company but its him and his wife thats it! You wont ever get an operator on their phone line!
