PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BE AWARE! IF YOU DECIDE TO SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY IN THIS UNAPPRECIATIVE ESTABLISHMENT THEN YOU WILL BE AN UNWISE FOOL. I VISITED THIS ESTABLISHMENT ON JUNE 20, 2014. THE COVER CHARGE BY THE TIME I ARRIVED TO THE DOOR WAS $30. THE MOMENT I APPROACHED THE DOOR I WAS GREETED BY THE DOOR GIRL AND HER RATCHET A** ATTITUDE. AFTER FOOLISHLY PAYING $30 THE SECURITY GUARD RUDELY ADDRESSED ME AND BEGAN TO SPEAK TO ME IN A CONDESCENDING MANNER AND PROCEEDED TO GO BACK AND FORTH WITH ME. I THEN DECIDED THAT IT WAS NO WAY THAT I WAS GOING TO SPEND MY HARD EARNED MONEY IN AN ESTABLISHMENT THAT WAS NOT APPRECIATIVE. AS I APPROACHED THE "DOOR GIRL" THE SECURITY GUARD TELLS HER OUT OF SPITE "NO REFUNDS, SHE CANT GET HER MONEY BACK" AS I CONTINUED TO ASK THE GIRL FOR MY MONEY BACK, HE WALKED UP IN MY FACE AND BEGAN TO YELL AT ME. I HAD'NT EVEN MADE IT INSIDE THE DOOR OF THIS VENUE BEFORE THIS COONERY TOOK PLACE. THIS MAN WAS RANTING AT ME AND NOT ONCE DID I DISRESPECT THIS MAN BY RAISING MY VOICE OR USING PROFANITY. MEANWHILE OTHER VENUE STAFF AS WELL AS THE ATLANTA CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT OFFICERS (3 TO BE EXACT) STOOD THERE AND LOOKED ON AS THIS MAN WAS RANTING AT ME AND TOTALLY DISRESPECTING ME. AFTER SHE FINALLY GAVE ME MY MONEY BACK(WHICH SHE INITIALLY TRIED TO REFUSE ME), ONE OF THE PROMOTERS SAID THAT FOR THE TROUBLE HE WOULD LET ME IN FOR FREE (ONLY AFTER MY GIRLFRIENDS "BEGGED" HIM TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE SITUATION BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE & ONLY AFTER MY TWO GIRLFRIENDS HAD ALREADY PAID $60, SO HE WASNT DOING ME A FAVOR). I REFUSED TO ENTER INTO AND PATRONIZE (BY BUYING DRINKS) AN ESTABLISHMENT THAT HAD SET THAT KIND OF TONE. HIS BEHAVIOR WAS ABSOLUTELY UNJUSTIFIABLE AND NOT TO MENTION THE CROWD WAS HOOD AND SQUALID. I SAW PEOPLE STANDING IN LINE WITH BEDROOM PARAPHERNALIA AND THEY WERE GLADY GRANTED ENTRANCE.THIS PLACE WILL NEVER BE PATRONIZED BY ME AGAIN AND IF YOU DO PATRONIZE THIS VENUE THEN THAT WOULD MAKE YOU JUST AS SHANTY AS THE PEOPLE WHO AFFILIATE THEMSELVES WITH THAT ROT GUT PLACE!

Overall
I been to Harlem Nights a coup...

I been to Harlem Nights a couple of times on Saturdays and always had a decent time. It was never crowded and the drinks were okay. I received an email informing me that on Friday it was Raheem DeVaughn birthday and it was free entry with rsvp until 1130pm and free drinks for ladies until midnight. So I rsvp and I got to the lounge around 1050 and the line is around the block. To my surprise the line was not moving at all but around 1131pm the line was moving very rapidly and the admission was twenty dollars. I paid the admission price since I was standing in line for so long.

Once I was in the club I went to the bar to get my free drink before midnight. I don’t know the bartender name (bald, short and dark skin man) but he was extremely rude and had no customer service skills. First, he was so unorganized. I was standing and waiting for a drink and he held his finger in the air (stating to give him a minute). After waiting for about 20 minutes he never took my order so I just went to a different bar.

Then I went on the dance floor when I realized the club was extremely hot so I decided to get a bottle water. I went back to the bar I originally visited because it was close to the dance floor. I waited for about 10 minutes before he even acknowledged me. Once he acknowledged me I asked him for a bottled water and he give me water in a cup. Since I was waiting for water for so long I realized that he was using ice that he had wine and Ciroc chilling in to make drinks. He also fished through the ice with his bare hands looking for bottles, so nasty. So after another five minutes I finally explained to him that I want a bottle water then he said an order have to be $5.00 or more to use my debit card. Before I could order another drink so my order will be more than $5.00 dollars he moved on to the next person.

I will never go back to Harlem Nights. It is too many clubs in Atlanta to choose from to have to wait in line for a long period of time for entry or at the bar.
