The Hapeville Elementary School is an airport community school that offers classes from grades prekindergarten through five. The school was established in 1940 and has an enrollment of more than 650 students. Its special programs include early intervention, talented and gifted, English as a second language, school guidance and mental health counseling. It also offers afterschool programs, band, orchestra, chorus and clubs. Additionally, the school provides support services, such as student assistants, student council, safety patrols and associations. Located in Hapeville, Ga., the school s online ParentConnect program allows to view school announcements, schedules, assignments, attendance, course history, and health and immunization data. Its parent-teacher association helps in fundraising to provide building improvements, curriculum-based programs and social events. The Hapeville Elementary School is a part of the Fulton County Schools that operates more than 90 schools and serves over 86,000 students.
