Overall

Overpriced and mediocre food. They are open really, really late so that is its only saving grace. The mongolian beef is not good, but the fried rice is good late at night after being out on the town.

Overall

Good food, but if you go too late, most of the customers are drunk.

Fantastic Dining Experience

During our East Coast trip we decided to visit this establishment and are we glad that we did!! We tried the lo mein (pork), garlic string beans, General Tso's chicken (of course, everything was vegan).

To sum it up, the food was cooked to perfection and the atmosphere made it even better. We will definitely come back before we leave.

Chinese Buddha is not ensuring...

Chinese Buddha is not ensuring that their customers are not shelling out an additional $75 after spending money at their establishment and are being discriminatory with it. With only twenty five parking spots marked for the restaurant and a crowd of a least 100 rotating and waiting to eat, Chinese Buddha either does not care about their customers or they’re receiving commission for every car booted. I parked my car in an unmarked spot as did the owner of a neighboring car and in the end the owner of Chinese Buddha ensured that the boot was taken off her car at no charge and mine was not. This is after I called the establishment to let them know what was going on and spoke to the manager, Victoria (a caucasian woman) and her refusing to come outside to at least try to address the issue for a customer that just left their establishment. At that point the owner came to move his car and when he realized that the neighboring car belonged to a fellow Asian, he notified the representative of the booting company that, that particular spot belonged to Chinese Buddha and then put up a sign notifying everyone that the other parking spots were off limits. There were no differences in our parking spots, both were unmarked yet they claim that her spot is leased by them and my question then becomes, how do I know that to be the case or that my spot wasn't also leased by Chinese Buddha from 100 Midtown. The only difference between our situation; she was of Asian descent and I was not! In the late hours, Chinese Buddha is filled with people of African descent and as a regular customer of such that has brought numerous of folks including the out-of- towners that were with me that night, to patronize their establishment, I was truly disappointed that still my race was the deciding factor as to how I was treated by a particular establishment despite my years of patronage to them. By the way, I was not the only African American to pay a hefty sum of $75 that night, there were 5 others!
