        I went to Blick with a list of art supplies my daughter needed for a class and they walked around with me to pick up each item and gave me advice on which product was better if there was a choice.

        This place has changed names, but is still the only art place in Midtown. Expensive, but extensive in art supplies. If they do not have something, they can order it for you.
