The Dog Pound

I adopted my two dogs from here almost 8 years ago. They were on the top of the euthanization list and just got out in time. Love them and i couldn't be happier. I adopted from out of state, so i haven't been to the shelter in person.

The Pound has more issues than people know.I had some pitt pups stolen and from time to time check to see if they have ended up in the pound.The last time that I was there I was deeply concerned for anyone adopting from there.The dogs are not able to be properly housed,not walked,and the runs are minute size.Think about how you would feel if it were you.Many many dogs-puppies showed signs of mental stress.One beautiful Mastiff was simply shutting down.What is neede is those who can and care to help out.You don't have to poop scoop just a simple 5 min walk would mean the world.Anyone can complain but a true good person would do.

THIS IS THE WORSE PLACE TO ADOPT A ANIMAL OF THEM ARE SICK AND NO TREATMENT IS GIVEN THEY ARE JUST PUT DOWN WE ADOPTED A DOG FROM HERE ONLY TO HAVE TO HAVE HER PUT DOWN AFTER HAVING HER 2 DAY SHE CAUGHT PARVO FROM THERE AND NO TREATMENT WAS GIVEN THEY HAD A LITTER OF PUPPIES SICK THERE FROM PARVO AND THEY STILL ADOPTED OUT DOG WITH OUT TREATING THEM MY FAMILY WAS HEARTBROKEN PLEASE DO NOT ADOPT FROM THEM!!!!!!
