About Born and raised in the Ashland area, David Stimpert graduated from Crestview High School in 1999. He then went onto receive his Bachelor's of Science Degree in Computer Science from Ashland University in 2003. Attorney Stimpert graduated from the University of Akron, School of Law, in 2006 and practiced with the law firm of Oxley & Poplar, Co., LPA until starting his own firm in June, 2008. He is licensed to practice in State Courts throughout Ohio and the United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio. Attorney Stimpert is current member of the Ohio Bar Assocation, a past president of the Ashland County Bar Association, and past board of trustee member of Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Attorney Stimpert and his family continue to live in Ashland County and strongly believe in giving back to the community. In addition to working as an Assistant Law Director for the City of Ashland, David is involved in several local charitable boards and organizations. He is a past chairman of The Salvation Army of Ashland, Ohio Advisory Board, and the Nuhop Center for Experiential Learning Board of Trustees (Camp Nuhop). Attorney Stimpert also served as past-President of the Ashland County Law Library Association, and as a board member on the Crestview Educational Foundation Board of Trustess, and past member of the Ashland YMCA board, and the Ashland County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Attorney Stimpert is also a graduate of the Leadership Ashland Program.
