I took my car in for a test drive to confirm I had a wheel bearing that was going bad. I expected to make an appointment for the repair, but the mechanic who test drove it didn't believe it was safe to continue driving the distance I drive daily. We've been using this repair shop since moving to Asheville in 2005. Honest, professional and fairly priced. XPertec is where the bar is set, for automotive repair excellence, in Asheville. There may be a better, harder working and more honest shop somewhere, but I doubt it.

After being disappointed by several other auto repair shops, my wife and I started taking our cars to Xpertech three years ago. We have been very pleased with attention and service we've received. I've been very impressed with the knowledge and integrity of this business. When trying to find a new mechanic, I'm always very cautions, even suspicious because of past disappointments. I feel confident that the owner, Kevin, and the other mechanics have been honest with us and treated us fairly. After comparison shopping, their prices have consistently been competitive.

Kevin and Robin run a taught ship! I have always been treated well and the work is always above standard. They (Scott) put a new motor and transmission in my 97 GMC pickup and you would never know that they had ever been out of the vehicle.(a prefect job not one minute's trouble) I take all 5 of my vehicle's to them and they never disappoint me! and the price is always reasonable! I have been a customer of X-Pertech for about seven years maybe more I have all my family and friends going there I have them on my speed dail in my cell phone! X-Pertech is the best place I've found in Asheville Nc for honesty and intergerty, and it clear that i'm not the only one in Asheville that thinks so cause the lot is ALWAYS covered in cars they have moved though according to this web site they're at 615 Swannanoa River Rd. they are now at 1295 Tunnel Rd.Asheville nc.

While traveling through the area during the holiday, this shop provided me with outstanding service and for a very affordable rate during the middle of the holidays. I was left with the feeling that the technician was very knowledgable and skilled with dealing with customers. The technician included me in two road tests and technical discussions of the problems. They identified the problem that I suspected, and corrected it along with another problem. I am so glad I did not go to a chain shop.
